| We stayed at the Super 8 Downtown Edinburg - North of McAllen last Easter weekend and everything was preety good, only one little detail with the lack of soap the first day, but was rapidly solved.
The only thing you need to consider if you're staying there is that the included breakfast is not nearly closed to a definition of breakfast: only coffee and wafles that one needs to cook. Breakfast schedule is also very strict (finished at 9:30). But as for the rest it was a very convenient staying, strategically located for shopping and easy to locate if coming from Mexico. |

| THIS HOTEL WAS NICE AND COMFORTABLE. THE ONLY THING I DIDNT LIKE WAS THE POOL NEEDED MAINTENANCE. MY DAUGHTER LOVES SWIMMING, AND LOOKS FORWARD TO THE POOL. SHE WAS NOT ABLE TO SWIM BECAUSE SHE SAID THE WATER WAS TOO DIRTY AND NEEDED CHLORINE. BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS PLEASANT. |

| Hotel was very nice. It smelled a little musty, but room was clean and comfortable. Whirlpool wasn't operating. Beverage machines were out of order and have been for some time, based on the tape. Was in a nice neighborhood with lots of stores and restaurants. Easy access to 281. Front desk personnel were extremely helpful and friendly. |

| If you are looking for a spacious room this is the place to go, I would even compare it to the Embassy Suites in McAllen. As expected it is not a luxory hotel but it has nice LCD TV, good A/C and everything worked as it should. My only complain was that the WIFI did't have good coverage inside my room, so if this is important pick the rooms at the sides not at the bottom of the building. |

| The hotel was about what I expected for a 2 star hotel--not too many amenities or assets. The outside was lovely and well kept, but the room was old and needed painting and maintenance. There were marks on the walls and mold on the ceiling of the bath. Strange configuration in the bath area--the door to the bath blocked the lavatory when it was open. The hair dryer did not work. Management was very helpful and accommodating and would have gotten another hair dryer if I had asked. |

| We stayed overnight and were very satisfied with the room. bed was a little hard but not too bad. room and property were very clean and location was perfect. I recommend the room. the price was great. |
